Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government on Thursday declared a nationwide public holiday for five days on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior, the holidays have been scheduled from Friday, April 21 to Tuesday, April 25.
This year, Eidul Fitr is expected to fall on April 21 or April 22, depending on the sighting of the moon.
Earlier this week, the ministry of religious affairs stated that Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on April 20 for the sighting of the Eid-ul-Fitr moon.
