Pakistan dispatches 24th consignment of humanitarian aid to Gaza

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan on Monday dispatched another humanitarian aid shipment to Gaza, comprising 100 tons of relief supplies sent through a chartered flight from Lahore to Egypt.

Under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's directive, the operation was organized by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in coordination with the Alkhidmat Foundation.

The latest consignment carried essential food items such as flour, rice, sweet corn, chickpeas, ready-to-eat meals, cooking oil, and fruit cocktails for the people of Gaza.

This marks Pakistan’s 24th aid delivery to the war-torn region, increasing the total relief assistance sent so far to 2,327 tons, as directed by the prime minister.

A special send-off event took place at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, where representatives from the NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Alkhidmat Foundation were present to witness the departure of the consignment.
