Pakistan, Turkiye call for immediate ceasefire in Gaza, urgent delivery of humanitarian aid

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar spoke by phone with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during which the two leaders voiced strong condemnation of Israel’s continued military actions in Gaza.

They expressed serious alarm over the worsening humanitarian conditions, highlighting the growing levels of starvation, forced displacement, and the tragic loss of civilian lives.

The conversation underscored the pressing need for immediate and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to those affected.

The two leaders stressed the importance of an urgent ceasefire and called for cohesive international efforts to pave the way for a fair, enduring, and comprehensive resolution to the conflict.

Reaffirming their steadfast solidarity with the Palestinian people and their legitimate aspirations, DPM Dar and FM Fidan shared hope that the international conference taking place today at the United Nations—focused on implementing the two-state solution—will lead to concrete and constructive outcomes.
