Gaza (Web Desk): Israel on Friday said all Palestinians must vacate northern Gaza, a region that is home to 1.1 million people, within 24 hours, as it deployed its tanks near the Gaza Strip citing an upcoming major ground operations in the area.
The Unite Nations (UN) has called it a “forced relocation” of 1.1 million people. The UN warned that Israel’s plan to clear the northern part of the Gaza Strip of its population would have “devastating humanitarian consequences”.

Israel says significant military operations will take place in Gaza City in the coming days and residents must move south and can only return to their homes when permitted to do so by Israeli forces.
Meanwhile, Hamas’s military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, says it is capable of fighting off an Israeli ground invasion of Gaza.
In Beirut, Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian said that if Israel’s attack on Gaza continues, the war may open on “other fronts”, an apparent reference to the Lebanese group Hezbollah.
Human Rights Watch (HRW) accused Israel of using white phosphorus munitions in its military operations in Gaza and Lebanon.

Israel's bombings have martyred more than 1,500 Palestinians hundreds of which include children, and more than 6,600 injured Gaza authorities said. The Israeli forces have also killed four medics, which the Palestinian Red Crescent claimed were murdered deliberately.
According to Israeli Medical Services, at least 1300 Israelis have died and 3,200 injured.
Israel has so far put Gaza, home to 2.3 million people, under total siege, blocked their electricity, food, water and launched a bombing campaign that destroyed whole neighbourhoods.
More than 339,000 people have now been forced to flee their homes in Gaza due to the Israeli bombardment according to UN.
