Gold price increases by Rs2,800 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a notable increase, rising by Rs2,800 per tola to reach Rs309,300 on Thursday, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs306,500.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw an upward adjustment of Rs2,400, reaching Rs265,174 from Rs262,774.

Similarly, 22-karat gold experienced a price rise, with 10 grams now valued at Rs243,085, up by Rs2,201 from the previous price of Rs240,884.

Meanwhile, the prices of silver remained stable, with both per tola and 10-gram silver holding steady at Rs3,440 and Rs2,949, respectively.

On the global front, gold prices surged by $27, climbing to $2,942 from $2,915, while the price of silver remained unchanged at $33.00 per ounce.
