Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in the province surged again on Friday, continuing an upward trajectory driven by gains in the international market.
The price of one tola of gold increased by Rs4,600, reaching Rs361,500, while the rate for ten grams climbed by Rs4,023 to settle at Rs310,070. Silver also saw a marginal uptick, with the price of one tola rising by Rs5 to Rs3,780.
According to sources from the local Sarafa Association, the per tola price of gold hovered around Rs361,500 by the end of the trading day.
This steep increase comes just two days after a more modest rise of Rs600 was recorded on Wednesday, which had pushed the gold rate to Rs352,900 per tola at that time.
Meanwhile, the international bullion market mirrored this momentum, with global gold prices jumping by $46 to reach $3,417 per ounce.
