Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has announced a fresh adjustment in petroleum prices, bringing down the price of petrol by Rs0.94 per litre while raising the cost of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs0.54 per litre.
According to a notification released by the Petroleum Division, the revised rates will be applicable for August 13 (Thursday).
With the latest increase, HSD will now be available at Rs382.79 per litre, compared with the previous rate of Rs382.25.
Meanwhile, the price of motor spirit, commonly known as petrol, has been lowered from Rs325.92 to Rs324.98 per litre.
The government has made the changes in line with the prevailing petroleum pricing mechanism.
