PM Shehbaz decides to convene emergency cabinet meeting to review security situation

Islamabad  (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to convene an emergency meeting of the federal cabinet to review the country's security situation.

According to sources, the meeting is expected to take place at any time today, and cabinet members have been instructed to remain on standby for the session.

The cabinet meeting will focus on a detailed discussion of Pakistan's overall security situation, and important decisions are expected in this regard. However, members of the cabinet have not been officially informed about the agenda of the meeting.

The emergency meeting comes one day after the suicide bombing outside the Judicial Complex in Islamabad, which resulted in the martyrdom of 12 individuals and injuries to 27 others. The blast targeted a police vehicle, and it has raised concerns about the increasing terrorist activities in Pakistan.

In recent times, there has been a rise in the activities of terrorist groups based in Afghanistan, which has led to an escalation of terrorist incidents in various parts of Pakistan. This situation is highlighting the need for the government to implement additional security measures.
