Gold price increases by Rs500 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw an increase of Rs500 per tola, trading at Rs306,500 on Wednesday up from previous day’s Rs306,000.

According to Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs429, reaching Rs262,774, compared to Rs262,345 previously.

The price of 10-gram 22-karat gold also went up by Rs393, climbing from Rs240,491 to Rs240,884.

Silver prices also experienced a rise, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs52, bringing it to Rs3,440, while the price of 10 grams of silver went up by Rs45, reaching Rs2,949.

On the global front, the price of gold saw a modest increase of $5, moving from $2,910 to $2,915 per ounce.

Silver prices in the international market also rose by $0.50, reaching $33.00, up from $32.50.
