Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the government is fully aware of attempts aimed at undermining the peace agreement process and strongly rejects what he described as negative propaganda and unnecessary noise surrounding the development.
In a statement posted on the social media platform X, the prime minister said that a final and mutually agreed draft of the peace agreement has already been completed.

He added that Pakistan is currently engaged with both parties involved in the process to finalise the next phase of implementation and ensure smooth progress towards a durable settlement.
Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan’s continuous and “tireless” diplomatic and mediation efforts had played a key role in bringing the sides closer to an agreement. He maintained that these efforts have now yielded positive results, with the peace framework successfully taking shape.
Expressing optimism, the prime minister said that the prospects for peace are now stronger than at any point in the past.
He noted that while challenges and attempts to create confusion remain, the overall direction of the process is moving towards stability and consensus.
He further reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to continue playing a constructive role in promoting peace, stability, and cooperation in the region.
The prime minister said that Pakistan will remain engaged with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that the agreement progresses successfully through its remaining stages.
PM Shehbaz also emphasized that the government will not be distracted by misinformation campaigns and will continue to focus on diplomacy and dialogue as the preferred path forward.
