Israel may attack Iran anytime as tensions escalate, claims US media 

Washington (Web Desk): Tensions in the Middle East are reaching critical levels as reports from US media indicate that Israel is poised to launch a military strike against Iran at any moment.

According to these reports, Israel has already notified the United States of its intentions, outlining its readiness to carry out operations deep inside Iranian territory.

This development has sparked significant concern within Washington and across the region, where governments are bracing for potential fallout.

The United States, worried about the possibility of Iranian retaliation, particularly against American military installations in Iraq, has begun taking precautionary steps.

In response to the growing threat, US authorities have issued directives for certain American citizens residing in the Middle East to leave immediately.

The Pentagon has also offered military families stationed in the region the option of voluntary evacuation, underscoring the seriousness with which the US is approaching the situation.

Iran, meanwhile, has issued stern warnings to the United States, making it clear that any escalation will be met with a strong response.

Iranian leaders have threatened to strike US military bases across the Middle East if they are drawn into a conflict, placing direct responsibility on Washington for any consequences that follow an Israeli attack.

At the same time, Iran’s defense minister has expressed a desire to avoid war, stating that diplomacy remains the preferred path forward, even as he warned that Iran would inflict heavy damage on its adversaries if conflict becomes unavoidable.

Since April, the two countries have held five rounds of talks aimed at restoring or replacing the 2015 nuclear agreement. The sixth round is scheduled to take place on Sunday in Muscat, Oman.
