Khamenei says Qatar attack 'no minor incident', vows similar actions if Iran feels threatened again

Tehran (Web Desk): Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has referred to the Iranian missile strike on US military bases in Qatar as a "no minor incident" and suggested that similar actions could take place in the future if Tehran feels threatened again.

In his recent statement, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that Iran possesses the full capability to target American military installations. He clarified that the attack was intended as a warning, and could be repeated if the situation demands it.

On the other hand, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in an interview with a French newspaper, expressed Iran’s willingness to enter negotiations, provided the United States adjusts its policies and abandons its aggressive approach.

He added that Iran is open to talks based on mutual respect and dignity, but only if the US halts its attacks and offers assurances that it will not damage Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.

Araghchi also disclosed that recent US airstrikes had caused harm to Iran's nuclear facilities, and that Iran reserves the right to seek compensation for the damages incurred.

It should be remembered that on June 23, Iran launched missile strikes on Qatar’s Al-Udeid military airbase, an action that was later confirmed by Iranian state media.
