Karachi (Web Desk): The price of gold in the global market saw an increase of $11, pushing the price of gold per ounce to $3,356. This rise directly impacted Pakistan's local market, where a sharp increase in gold prices was recorded.
In Pakistan, the price of 24-carat gold per tola (11.66 grams) increased by Rs1,100 , reaching a new price of Rs358,100. The price of 10 grams of gold also saw an increase of Rs944, bringing its price to Rs307,013.
Similarly, the price of silver also witnessed a significant rise. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs85, reaching Rs4,022 , while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs73, reaching Rs3,448.
Experts believe that the increase in gold prices on the global level is due to the prevailing economic conditions and the growing demand for gold from investors, which has affected the local market in Pakistan as well.
