 Pakistan beat Australia by 8 wickets to clinch ODI series 2-1

Perth (Web Desk): Pakistan defeated Australia by 8 wickets in third One-Day International (ODI) in Perth, clinching the series against Australia for the first time in 22 years.

After winning, the toss Pakistan decided to field first.

Batting first, Australia were all out all at 140 in 31.5 overs.

Pakistan managed to chase the target in 26.5 overs with eight wickets in hand.

Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafiq gave pakistan a solid start, putting on a score of 84 before Australian bowler Lance Morris Struck, removing both openers in quick succession.

Babar Azam and Skipper Mohammad Rizwan then came on the crease and remained there till the end.

Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah were the pick of the bowlers, both claiming three wickets each while Haris Rauf took two wickets to restrict Australia to their lowest score against Pakistan.

Haris Rauf was declared player of the match and also player of the series.
