Brisbane (Staff Report): Pakistan has defeated Tuesday Cricket Australia (CA) XI by 196 runs in the warm-up match played at Brisbane’s Allan Border Field.
CA XI won the toss against Pakistan and chose to bowl first.
Pakistan set up a big target of 334/7 on scoreboard.
Babar Azam missed out on a century by just two runs, and remained top scorer for Pakistan with 98 runs. Sharjeel Khan scored 62 and Umar Akmal notched 54 runs.
CA XI struggled right from the beginning to chase the enormous target and kept on losing wickets, all out on 138 in 36.2 overs.
Pakistani team's Hasan Ali took three wickets whereas Imad Wasim and Shoaib Malik shared two wickets each.
