Dazhou, China (Web Desk): The Pakistan U-18 hockey team showcased an outstanding performance by defeating host nation Malaysia in a thrilling semi-final match of the Asia Hockey Cup, securing their spot in the tournament's final.

The high-intensity semi-final ended in a 3-3 draw at the end of regular time, with both teams displaying remarkable skill and determination. The match then proceeded to a penalty shootout to decide the winner.

In the nerve-wracking shootout, Pakistan held their nerve and triumphed over Malaysia with a 4-3 scoreline, thanks to the composure and precision of their young players under pressure.

With this victory, Pakistan has advanced to the final where they will face Japan in a much-anticipated title clash. The final is scheduled to take place on July 13.
