Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold saw an upward shift of Rs1,100, reaching Rs279,400 on Friday, compared to Rs278,300 a day earlier.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold also rose by Rs943, moving from Rs238,597 to Rs239,540.
Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 22 karat gold increased, climbing from Rs218,714 to Rs219,579.
Silver prices, however, remained stable, with the rate for one tola holding at Rs3,350 and for 10 grams at Rs2,872.08.
Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices saw a modest rise of $11, moving from $2,665 to $2,676 per ounce.
