7 khawarij killed, soldier martyred in North Waziristan operations: ISPR

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Security forces have killed seven Khawarij in two separate engagements in North Waziristan District, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted by the security forces in the general area of Miran Shah, North Waziristan District, following reports of the presence of Khwarij.

During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location as a result of which four Khwarij were sent to hell.

In another encounter that took place in general area of Spinwam, North Waziristan District, own troops successfully neutralized three more Khwarij.

However, during the intense fire exchange, one brave son of soil, Lance Naik Muhammad Amin having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat.

The military’s media wing said that sanitization operation was being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area.

“Security Forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” the ISPR said.
