Islamabad (Web Desk): The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has taken strict legal action against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s Advisor, Sohail Afridi, in a case involving misleading allegations against state institutions.
During the hearing, the court expressed strong displeasure over Afridi’s repeated absence. In response, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants and directed the police to ensure that he is arrested and presented before the court by February 21.
The court also adjourned the next hearing in the case until February 21, emphasizing the importance of compliance with legal proceedings.
This move marks a significant step by the judiciary in addressing cases involving public officials who fail to appear in court despite repeated summons.
