Islamabad (Web Desk): President Dr Arif Alvi and Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar on Saturday expressed grief and sorrow over the damages caused by severe earthquake in Morocco.
In a statement, President Arif Alvi condoled with the quake affected families.
The president expressed solidarity with the people and government of Morocco. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the calamity.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar extended his condolences to the government and people of Morocco over the loss of precious lives.
In a statement today, he the premier expressed his sympathies with the affected families.
"In this hour of difficulty, Pakistan stands with the brave people and government of Morocco and will provide them all possible support," PM Kakar said.
Separately, on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, the premier posted "our hearts ache for those affected by the severe earthquake in Morocco. Pakistan extends its hand in unity and support to Morocco in this trying time."

Meanwhile, Caretaker Federal Minister for Human Rights, Khalil George has expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of life and property caused by the earthquake in Morocco.
The minister said that he is with the government and people of Morocco in this hour of trial.
Khalil George further said that he sympathizes with the affected families for the loss of life and property.
At least 630 people were killed and hundreds were injured after 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Morocco late Friday night.
