Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices have once again recorded a significant increase, pushing rates in the local bullion market to higher levels.
After a decline of Rs17,052 over the past three days, the market witnessed a reversal today with fresh gains in gold prices.
Per tola gold increased by Rs2,830, reaching a new price of Rs455,063.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs2,547, bringing it to Rs389,534.
In the international market, gold also became more expensive, rising by $28.29 per ounce to reach $4,326.27.
Meanwhile, silver prices also saw an increase in the domestic market, with a rise of Rs 141 per tola, taking the price to Rs7,314.
According to bullion dealers, fluctuations in the global market have directly impacted local prices, resulting in an upward trend in both gold and silver rates.
They added that rising prices may affect jewellery demand, while investors continue to prefer gold as a safe-haven asset.
