Punjab CM Maryam directs to ensure free of cost medicines in govt hospitals

Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Friday directed authorities concerned to ensure free of cost medicines for patients in government hospitals.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore on Friday, she revealed that the government is spending Rs80 billion to provide free medications to the public.

She also announced the creation of a special committee tasked with preparing a plan to make modern medicines of international quality available in the province’s healthcare system.
