Pakistan dispatches 28th humanitarian aid consignment to Palestine

Islamabad (Web Desk): The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), in line with special directions issued by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, arranged the dispatch of another shipment of humanitarian aid for the people of Palestine.

The 28th relief consignment consists of 100 tons of tents and has been sent with the cooperation of the Alkhidmat Foundation.

The relief supplies were flown on a dedicated aircraft from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore to Al-Arish in Egypt, from where they will be forwarded to Gaza.

Following the departure of this consignment, the total quantity of relief assistance sent to Palestine by Pakistan through 28 shipments has now reached 2,727 tons.

A brief send-off ceremony was held at the airport, with Punjab Housing Minister and MPA Mian Bilal Yasin present as the chief guest. senior officials from the NDMA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), along with representatives of other government departments and the Alkhidmat Foundation, also attended the event.

The government and citizens of Pakistan have reiterated their unwavering solidarity with the people of Palestine during these trying circumstances and reaffirmed their commitment to continue extending all possible support to meet their humanitarian needs.
