Karachi (Web Desk): The per tola price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs1,000 and was traded at Rs256,500 in the local market on Friday against its sale at Rs255,500 the previous day.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 karat also increased by Rs857 to Rs219,907 from Rs219,050 whereas that of 10 gram 22 karat gold went up to Rs20,582 from Rs219,050.
The price of per tola and ten gram silver remained unchanged at Rs2,850 and Rs2,443.41 respectively.
Prices of gold in the international market increased by $37 to $2,430 from $2,393, the association reported.
