Gold price increases by Rs1,000 per tola in Pakistan 

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a notable uptick, rising by Rs1,000 to Rs277,000 per tola on Wednesday, following a previous closing of Rs276,000.

According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), this surge reflects a broader trend, as the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also climbed by Rs858, reaching Rs237,483, up from Rs236,625.

Similarly, 10-gram 22-karat gold saw a marginal increase, rising to Rs217,693 from Rs216,907.

In contrast, the prices of silver remained stable, with per tola silver holding steady at Rs3,350, and the 10-gram price maintaining Rs2,872.08.

In the international market, gold prices experienced a modest rise in the international market, gaining $10 to settle at $2,652, up from the prior level of $2,642.
