PM Shehbaz, Qatri counterpart discuss prevailing regional developments

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif held a detailed telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Qatar, during which both leaders reviewed the current regional situation and exchanged views on a range of important developments.

During the call, the two leaders discussed ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region.

They emphasized the importance of continued engagement and coordination among friendly countries to help reduce tensions and support long-term stability.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif noted that the people of Pakistan look forward to the early visit of the Emir of Qatar, expressing hope that such high-level exchanges would further strengthen the longstanding brotherly relations between the two countries. He added that closer cooperation would help deepen mutual trust and expand collaboration in various fields.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to supporting sustained diplomatic initiatives for peace in the region and agreed that constructive dialogue remains essential in addressing regional challenges.

The Qatari Prime Minister, on his part, reiterated Qatar’s commitment to continuing its diplomatic efforts for peace, security, and stability in the Middle East.

He also emphasized the importance of maintaining close coordination with Pakistan on regional and international matters.

At the conclusion of the conversation, both sides agreed to remain in close contact and continue regular consultations on issues of mutual interest, reflecting their shared desire to further strengthen bilateral ties and enhance cooperation.
