Islamabad (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari and the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have denounced the targeting of civilian populations across the border by India as a blatant violation of international law.
In their separate statements, they said entire Pakistani nation stands firmly united behind its courageous armed forces.
President Asif Ali Zardari denounced the Indian missile strikes, describing them as an unprovoked act of aggression and a clear breach of international law.
He said the attacks reflected the true face of India’s fascist regime, which prioritises political ambitions over regional peace and international norms.
President Zardari reaffirmed the country's unwavering commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing that act of hostility would be responded to with full force.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan has every right to give a befitting response to India after its missile strikes on the country.
In a statement, he said the enemy has carried out a cowardly attack at various locations in Pakistan and we are ready to give a befitting response to this act of war imposed on us.
The prime minister said the entire nation stands by the country's armed forces with a high morale and spirits.
“Pakistan will not allow its enemy to succeed in its nefarious objectives,” PM Shehbaz said.
According to security sources, India hit the areas in Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Ahmad Pur Sharqia and Muridke.
