Abu Dhabi (Web Desk): The President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued his first public statement following the recent conflict with Iran, emphasizing that the nation is in a state of readiness and will fully protect its citizens and territory.
Speaking to the public, President Mohammed bin Zayed said, “The UAE is not an easy target. Our strength is firm, and our resolve is clear. We will defend our country, people, and residents at all costs.”
The statement comes after the UAE’s defense forces successfully intercepted multiple Iranian attacks. According to the Ministry of Defense, today the country’s air and missile defense systems neutralized 15 ballistic missiles and 1,229 drones, while 76 drones landed on UAE territory, and one missile fell into the sea.
Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian had assured neighboring countries that Iran would not initiate attacks unless provoked, stating that the Interim Leadership Council had approved a policy of no aggression against its neighbors.
President Mohammed bin Zayed’s address signals the UAE’s commitment to national defense and its firm stance against external threats, underlining that the country remains resilient and prepared in the face of regional tensions.
