Oman, UAE urge ceasefire in Iran–US–Israel conflict

Dubai/Muscat (Web Desk): Oman’s Foreign Minister has described the military actions by Israel and the United States against Iran as immoral and illegal. Addressing an emergency meeting of the Arab League, he also expressed regret over Iran’s retaliatory strikes against neighboring countries and urged all parties to agree to a ceasefire and pursue a diplomatic solution.

The Omani minister warned that the region is standing at a dangerous turning point as military activities continue to escalate. He said that if the fighting persists, it could seriously threaten regional security, maritime routes, global supply chains, and the international economy.

Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed concern over civilian casualties and injuries caused by Iran’s attacks. The UAE stated that such actions violate international law and national sovereignty.

The UAE emphasized that it does not want to become involved in the conflict, but it retains the right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and national security.

According to the UAE, more than 1,400 drones have been launched by Iran, resulting in civilian deaths and injuries.
