Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a significant rise of Rs3,000, reaching Rs307,000 on Friday, compared to Rs304,000 on the previous day.
According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs2,571, reaching Rs263,203 from the previous price of Rs260,630.
The price of 22-karat gold followed suit, with the cost for 10 grams going up by Rs2,359, reaching Rs241,278 from Rs238,919.
Silver also experienced a price hike, with the per tola rate rising by Rs31, bringing it to Rs3,400. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of silver climbed by Rs26 to Rs2,914.
On the global front, the price of gold surged by $28, reaching $2,921, up from $2,893. Silver prices in the international market also saw an increase of $0.30, bringing the price to $32.65.
