Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (PBUH): President, PM greet nation, Muslim Ummah

Islamabad (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended their heartfelt greetings to the nation and the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

In their separate, messages, the president and the premier encouraged the people to dedicate themselves to shaping their personal and collective lives in line with the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

President Zardari highlighted the spiritual importance of this sacred occasion, describing it as a moment of deep joy and devotion for Muslims worldwide.

He noted that this day fosters unity among Muslims across the globe, built on the foundation of faith and centered around the revered personality of the Prophet (PBUH).

In his message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the need for the nation to renew its commitment to the values taught by the Prophet (PBUH), particularly in building a more just and inclusive society.

He urged citizens to reject prejudice, sectarianism, extremism, and hatred, and instead, to promote empathy, mutual respect, and social harmony.

Eid Milad-un-Nabi is being observed with reverence throughout the country, with special gatherings arranged at both official and community levels. Naat reciters are participating in these events, offering tributes in honor of the Prophet (PBUH), reflecting the deep love and devotion felt by the people on this blessed day.
