Gold price increases by Rs6,100, reaches Rs356,100 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices surged sharply in the local market on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs6,100 to settle at Rs356,100, compared to Rs350,000 a day earlier, According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA).

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed to Rs305,300, showing an increase of Rs5,232.

The rate for 10 grams of 22-karat gold also saw a notable uptick, gaining Rs4,796 to reach Rs279,868.

Silver followed a similar upward trajectory. The per tola rate of silver increased by Rs57, now priced at Rs3,482, while the 10-gram rate edged up by Rs22 to Rs2,985.

On the international front, bullion prices also experienced a boost. Gold rose by $61, reaching $3,377 per ounce, while silver advanced by $0.57 to hit $33.00.
