Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Security forces killed 14 Indian-backed terrorists in three separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan, the military’s media wing said on Saturday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted by the Security Forces in Tank District on reported presence of khwarij.

“During the conduct of operation, the troops effectively engaged the khwarij location and after an intense fire exchange, seven khwarij were killed,” the statement said

Another IBO was conducted in Lakki Marwat District. In ensuing fire exchange, two more khwarij were effectively neutralised by the security forces.

As per the ISPR, on December 05, 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence based operation in Dera Bugti District of Balochistan, on reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Hindustan.

“During the conduct of operation, own forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, five Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,” the statement said.

The military’s media wing said that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Indian sponsored khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security Forces, law enforcement agencies (LEA) and target killing of innocent civilians.

It added that sanitization operations were being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored kharji in the area.

"Counterterrorism campaign under vision 'Azm e Istehkam' by security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country," the ISPR said.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the security forces for conducting successful operations against Fitna-al-Khawarij terrorists in the Tank and Lakki Marwat areas of KP, and in Dera Bugti district of Balochistan.

In their messages, the president and the premier appreciated the bravery of the personnel who once again disrupted the dangerous plans of the Indian-backed Fitna al-Khawarij network.

President Zardari reaffirmed that the collective determination of the armed forces and the nation will not falter until this “Fitnah” is completely rooted out.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the security forces are securing significant victories against terrorist elements under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” strategy.

He added that the people of Pakistan firmly stand alongside their armed forces in this ongoing struggle.

The prime minister also reiterated the government’s strong commitment to eliminating terrorism in all its forms from the country.
