Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Security forces killed five Khwarij during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Lakki Marwat, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), two Khwarij also got injured during the conduct of operation.
The statement Sanitization operation was being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area.
“Security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz sharif applauded the security forces for their successful operation against the Khwarij in Lakki Marwat.
In their separate statements, the president and the premier commended the bravery of the security forces for their successful action against the Khwarij terrorists.
They appreciated the bravery of the security forces for sending five Khwarij to hell and injuring two others during the operation.
President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday paid tribute to the security forces for their successful operation against Fitnat-ul-Khawarij in Lakki Marwat.
According to a President House press release, the president praised the security forces for killing five terrorists and injuring two others during the operation.
He expressed national resolve to continue operation against terrorists until complete eradication of terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the security forces for successful anti-terrorism operation while eliminating five Khawarij terrorists and arresting two injured in Lakki Marwat district.
According to a PM Office news release, the premier said that the nefarious intentions of the enemies of humanity would continue to be crushed in the same way.
PM Shehbaz added that the government was actively working to completely eradicate terrorism from the country.
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi also paid tribute to the security forces for their successful operations against Khawarji terrorists in Lakki Marwat. He applauded the security forces for eliminating 5 Khawarij terrorists.
“We salute the security forces for their successful operation against Khawarij terrorists in
Lakki Marwat. The security forces have foiled the nefarious designs of Khawarij terrorists by taking timely action”, Mohsin Naqvi said.
The interior minister further stated that the nation was proud of its brave security forces.
He emphasized that foreign terrorists would not be allowed to hide anywhere in Pakistan and terrorism would be eliminated from the country with the support of the nation.
