President, PM grieved over martyrdom of security forces personnel in Lakki Marwat

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed resolve to continue fight against terrorism till its complete elimination.

In their separate condolence messages over the martyrdom of seven security forces' personnel including Captain Muhammad Faraz Illyas in a terrorist attack in Lakki Marwat, the president and the premier paid tribute to the law enforcement agencies for giving meritorious sacrifices and services.

In his message, President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to the martyred Jawans of Pakistan Army and prayed for the high ranks of the departed souls.

Condemning the IED attack by the terrorists near security forces vehicle, the president reiterated the resolve of the entire nation to root out the cancer of terrorism.

Paying tribute to the sacrifices and valour of shaheed Jawans, President Zardari said that the nation would never forget the sacrifices of its sons and Shuhada and expressed condolences with the bereaved families and prayed for them to bear the losses with fortitude.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while reiterating the resolve to continue fighting against terrorism till its complete elimination, expressed his deep grief over shahadat of seven security personnel, including Captain Muhammad Faraz Ilyas, in a terrorist attack in District Lakki Marwat.

The prime minister prayed for the bereaved families to bear the losses with equanimity.

He said that the entire nation saluted the law enforcement agencies for their services and unprecedented sacrifices and stood with the brave Jawans.

The prime minister also resolved to make terrorists accountable.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the IED blast near a security forces' vehicle in the Lakki Marwat.

The minister conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs.

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Faisal Karim Kundi and Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur also strongly condemned the terrorist attack on security forces vehicle in Lakki Marwat.

In their separated statements issued in Peshawar, the governor and the CM expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of seven personnel includes Capt Faraz in the tragic incident.

They expressed sympathies with the bereaved families and said that the sacrifices of security forces will never be go in vain.
