Gold price increases by Rs1900 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a significant rise on Tuesday, climbing by Rs1,900 per tola to reach Rs294,300, up from Rs292,400 the previous day.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,629, reaching Rs252,314 from Rs250,685.

The value of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also witnessed an increase of Rs1,494, moving from Rs229,802 to Rs231,296.

Silver prices also surged, with per tola rates increasing by Rs49, from Rs3,265 to Rs3,314.

Meanwhile, global gold prices experienced a rise of $16 per ounce, moving from $2,799 to $2,815, reflecting a shift in the international market that contributed to the domestic price adjustments.
