Gold price increases by Rs13,300, reaches to Rs563,862 per tola Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The domestic bullion market witnessed a significant upswing on Monday as the price of 24-karat gold per tola jumped by Rs13,300, bringing it to Rs563,862 from the earlier rate of Rs550,562, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

In the same vein, the value of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs11,402 to reach Rs483,420, compared to its previous price of Rs472,018. The rate for 10 grams of 22-karat gold also moved higher, increasing by Rs10,453 to settle at Rs443,151 from Rs432,698.

Silver prices mirrored the upward momentum in the local market. The per tola rate of silver climbed by Rs188 to Rs10,050 from Rs9,862, while the cost of 10 grams of silver went up by Rs161, reaching Rs8,616 against its earlier price of Rs8,455.

Meanwhile, trends in the international market also showed gains. Gold prices surged by $133 per ounce to $5,411, up from $5,278, whereas silver advanced by $1.88 to $95.66, according to the Association.
