Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold per tola surged by Rs3,300, reaching Rs370,700 on Monday, compared to Rs367,400 recorded the previous day.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs2,829 to Rs317,815 from Rs314,986.
The price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also experienced an increase of Rs2,594, moving up to Rs291,341 from Rs288,747.
Meanwhile, silver prices followed the upward trend, with the rate per tola climbing by Rs101 to Rs4,303, and the price per 10 grams going up by Rs87 to Rs3,689.
On the international front, gold prices increased by $33, reaching $3,480 from $3,447, while silver prices rose by $1.01 to $40.70 from $39.69.
