Gold price increases by Rs3,500 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk):  Gold prices have surged significantly across Pakistan, with the price of 24-carat gold increasing by Rs3,500 per tola to reach Rs410,278.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa, Gems & Jewelers Association, reported by the official news agency APP, gold was sold at Rs406,778 per tola the previous day, but it climbed to a new high on Wednesday.

In the international market, gold prices also rose by $35, reaching $3,890 per ounce from $3,855.

Silver prices have also increased, with the price of silver per tola rising by Rs. 50 to Rs. 4,826. Similarly, 10 grams of silver went up by Rs43, reaching Rs4,137.

The global silver price increased by $0.50 to $47.27 per ounce.

The association noted that the rising prices of precious metals in the global market are clearly reflected in Pakistan as well.
