Islamabad (Web Desk): The government has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products, placing additional financial pressure on the public.
According to the official statement, the price of petrol has been raised by Rs8 per liter, bringing the new rate to Rs266.17 per liter.
Similarly, the price of diesel has also increased by Rs5.16 per liter. Experts warn that this hike in fuel prices may lead to higher transportation and commodity costs, which could eventually affect everyday consumers.
Citizens have expressed concern over the rise, saying it will put further strain on household budgets.
