Aseefa felicitates Han Seong-sook on becoming South Korea PM

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan's First Lady and Member of the National Assembly, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, on Wednesday conveyed her warm congratulations to Han Seong-sook following her appointment as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea.

In a statement, the First Lady praised Han Seong-sook's appointment, saying it reflected her exceptional leadership and accomplishments in the areas of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

She described the appointment as a landmark achievement for greater female representation in positions of leadership and public service.

“As the First Lady of Pakistan and as the daughter of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the first woman Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Muslim world, it is my singular honour and privilege to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on your appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea. I wish you every success in the discharge of your important responsibilities,” she said.

Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari remarked that Han Seong-sook's elevation to the country's top office highlighted the growing role of women in leadership and their valuable contribution to national progress.

She further expressed confidence that Han Seong-sook's extensive experience in encouraging innovation and strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises would support the Republic of Korea's continued development and prosperity.
