Karachi (Web Desk): The cost of 24 karat gold saw a significant rise, with the price per tola climbing by Rs1,000 to Rs273,600, compared to the previous day's rate of Rs272,600.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs857, reaching Rs234,568 from Rs233,711.
Meanwhile, the value of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw an upward adjustment, reaching Rs215,021, up from Rs213,711.
In contrast, the prices of silver remained stable, with both per tola and 10-gram silver being traded at Rs3,350 and Rs2,872.08, respectively.
Gold's price in the international market also experienced an uptick, rising by $10 to $2,624, from $2,614.
