Lahore (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday contacted President Asif Ali Zardari and enquired about his health.
The premier prayed to the Allah Almighty for early recovery of the president, adding that prayers of the entire nation were with the president.
President Asif Ali Zardari was admitted to a private hospital in Karachi after his health took a sudden downturn.
He was initially transported to the hospital from Nawabshah due to concerns of fever and an ongoing infection.
According to media reports, medical professionals have conducted a range of tests to assess his condition, with doctors keeping a close watch on his recovery.
In response to public concerns, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders have reassured the people that President Zardari's health has shown signs of improvement. They added that he is now in better health, though the situation is still being carefully monitored.
