Islamabad (Web Desk): The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) has decided to seek citizens help for COVID-19 SOPs compliance.
“With arrival of the 2nd wave & continued widescale violation of sop's, NCOC has decided to seek citizens help for sop compliance,” said NCOC chairman and Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar on Saturday in a tweet.
“Wherever you see violations taking place..Mask wearing in crowded places, social distancing.. Take a pic & send to 0335 3336262 alongwith location,” the minister added.

On Friday, the total number of recovered COVID-19 patients in Pakistan reached 313,527 after another 889 virus recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours.
Over the last twenty four hours, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases rose to 332,186 after 1078 new coronavirus cases surfaced in the country.Overall, 145,238 cases were reported in Sindh, 103,831 in Punjab, 39,361 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,887 in Balochistan, 19,594 in Islamabad, 4,229 in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and 4,046 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
According to the government's Covid-19 portal, the death toll related to coronavirus has reached 6,775 with 16 fatalities reported during the last 24 hours.
