Karachi (Web Desk): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) KSE-100 index on Monday gained more than 1000 points to cross the 48,000 benchmark for the first time in almost two years.
According to the PSX website, the market recorded an increase of 1010.93 points at 11:10am, up 2.15 per cent from the previous close of 47,076.99 points.
The stock market had last achieved this milestone on August 23, 2021.
The market has gained more than 6,600 points since Pakistan’s staff-level agreement with the IMF for a $3 billion Standby Agreement.
