Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that extending facilities to small farmers is the manifestation of PTI-led government's commitment towards the agriculture sector.
While chairing a meeting here on Wednesday, PM Khan said that facilitating the small farmers is amongst the foremost priorities of present government. He said that extending facilities will not only bolster agriculture yield but also help alleviate poverty and improve the economic conditions.
The Prime Minister directed to enhance coordination amongst the provinces to achieve the targets in the agriculture sector.
Earlier, the traders called off countrywide shutter-down strike aftert reaching an eleven-point agreement with the government.
Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, flanked by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Shabbar Zaidi and PTI stalwart Jahangir Tareen, announced the agreement at a press conference.
