Kohat (Web Desk): Eleven members of a family, including women and children died after heavy rainfall led to water entering the basement of their house in Kohat's Old Bazid Khel area.
According to rescue officials, rainwater entered the house in Purana Bazi khel area of Dara Adam Khel in Kohat.
The dead bodies were removed while the search for one girl was underway.
According to details, 6 children, 3 women, and 2 men from the same family were among those who drowned in the basement.
All of them died in the heavy rains water. The bodies were retrieved and laid to rest at their ancestral graveyard.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur have expressed deep condolences with members of the bereaved families.
They prayed for eternal peace of all the victims and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this loss with patience.
