Ukraine-Russia conflict: Moscow repeats claim of drone attack on Putin residence, Kiev denies allegations

Moscow (Web Desk):  Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has claimed that Ukraine attempted to attack Russian President Vladimir Putin's residence with 91 long-range drones on December 28 and 29, but Russia successfully thwarted the attack. Russia has warned that Ukraine will face a strong response for this action.

On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Russia’s claim as false, stating that the allegation is part of Russia’s conspiracy to derail the peace talks.

US President Donald Trump, commenting on the incident, expressed his dismay, stating that he was very upset to hear about the Ukrainian attack on President Putin's residence.

This incident could further escalate the ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine, while its reverberations are also being felt globally.
