Trump cancels meeting with Putin, imposes sanctions on major Russian oil companies over Ukraine conflict

Washington (Web Desk): US President Donald Trump announced that he has decided to cancel his planned meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating that he did not feel it was appropriate.

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office alongside NATO Secretary General, Trump explained that the cancellation was in response to ongoing geopolitical tensions.
