Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan’s Special Representative on Afghanistan Muhammad Sadiq Khan called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday.
According to a Prime Minister’s (PM) Office press release, during the meeting, Sadiq Khan briefed the prime minister about his recent visit to Afghanistan.
Special Assistant to the premier (SAPM) Tariq Fatemi also attended the meeting.
According to reports, Sadiq Khan and his delegation visited Kabul last week and met with senior Taliban leaders and interim administration ministers, including acting Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Kabir, acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, acting Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani, acting Commerce Minister Nooruddin Azizi, and other senior officials and traders.
